What benefits am I entitled to after an on-the-job injury?

‍Georgia law requires employers to pay for medical treatment and lost wages for injured workers. Medical treatment includes the cost of doctor visits, prescription drugs, assistive devices, and mileage reimbursement for medical visits. Lost wages are paid at a reduced amount, generally ⅔ of your average weekly wage, and numerous exclusions and special circumstances can affect your entitlement to lost wages and the calculations of the benefit amount.
